What is GLPcompare?
GLPcompare is a free reference for Americans paying out-of-pocket for GLP-1 weight-loss drugs. It reads self-pay prices from 100+ vendors—including telehealth programs, pharmacies, and direct manufacturer programs—on each vendor's page, verifying them weekly. Today that's 260+ prices. Each includes a source link, verification date, any membership fee, days of therapy covered, and full-dose pricing where vendors publish it.
The comparison covers compounded and brand tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro) and semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic), plus new GLP-1 tablets, with prices side by side. Membership fees are shown separately. Also available: state-level pricing, vendor records (FDA warnings, LegitScript, reviews), clinical trial results and FDA shortage status with sources, plus a weekly GLP-1 price index.
Features: AI search that understands plain requests (e.g., "cheapest compounded tirzepatide no membership") and displays matching prices; public MCP server for AI assistants to query current prices (no auth, read-only, free); open data in CSV and JSON (CC BY 4.0); embeddable price list.
Intended for U.S. adults comparing uninsured drug costs before purchase, as well as journalists and researchers using open price data.
Notes: GLPcompare is not a pharmacy, doctor, or drug seller. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The site provides price information, not medical advice. The service is free, no account required, in English, available on the web.
